Our 5 Dreams

Full Gospel Church of God, Punta Gorda Town

Dream #1

To establish a church where people (broken, desperate, frustrated, depressed, hurting, addicted, mentally unstable, abused, etc.) can find love, purpose, happiness, acceptance, hope, guidance, and eternal life.

Dream #2

A church that will express and share the love and the good news of Christ inside and outside of Belize, serving the community through all means possible (food, clothing, cleaning, medical assistance, building, etc.) Also, attending the orphans, widows and old age within the community.

Dream #3

To welcome 5,000 persons into the fellowship of our church family; guiding them to spiritual maturity through discipleship.

Dream #4

Equipping every believer for a significant ministry; helping them discover their abilities, talents and gifts. Therefore, sending them to fulfill their personal life mission (purpose) in the world.

Dream #5

To acquire sufficient land (30 acres) to construct a worship center; including a cafeteria for feeding programs, a training school, a sports complex, staff offices and recreational areas. All of this will be designed and dedicated to ministering to the people psychologically, emotionally, physically, and spiritually, in a beautiful landscape.

Where We Started

Our Church History

In 2014, the Full Gospel Church of God in Belize launched the Multiplication Network, a nationwide church planting initiative under the leadership of Pastor Álvaro Padilla, with the vision of planting healthy churches across the country. That same year, Brother Demetrio Soto and his eldest son, Brian Soto, answered God's call to become church planters.

After completing a ten-month church planting training program in Bella Vista Village, they prayerfully sought God's direction for where to begin a new ministry. Although Trio Village was initially considered, God clearly led them to Punta Gorda Town. Supported by Pastor Salome Díaz and members of the Bella Vista Church, they began making regular trips to Punta Gorda, sharing the Gospel through house-to-house evangelism.

Their faithfulness was soon rewarded as Darius Guzman became the first person to accept Jesus Christ through their outreach. From these humble beginnings, God established a church that continues to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples in Punta Gorda and the surrounding communities.
